I'm saving lives.
In early 2023 Greg was diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent a prostatectomy in late May 2023. With hormone treatment on board and a PSA of 0 we thought he had beaten it. Unfortunately in December 2023 Greg was diagnosed with a secondary prostate cancer that was extremely rare and aggressive. He fought extremely hard but passed away on the 18th February 2024.
Greg's family are asking for donations in place of flowers and gifts to research this terrible disease and encouraging men to have regular check ups and raise awareness that prostate cancer is not an old man's disease and the instances of prostate cancer among men is 1 in 6. Which is similar to that of breast cancer.
