I'm saving lives.

There are around 20,000 men in the South Australian community who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, and more than 2,000 men are newly diagnosed each year.

So Bowls SA is joining forces with Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia to launch Bowls for Blue, aiming to raise funds for prostate cancer research, awareness, and support services. With prostate cancer now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, Bowls for Blue provides a fun and unique way for clubs to make a difference.

Sign up to host a Bowls for Blue tournament between 3-10 February 2025 at your affiliated club and invite your members to join in.

Whether you host a one-day event or a multi-day tournament, your involvement will make a tangible difference for men and families impacted by prostate cancer.

Activities include wearing blue to save lives; donating registration fees; cash tin collections; hosting a raffle or auction, or hosting a ‘Parmie for Prostate’ night, the choices are endless.

Register your club by January 31 and personalise your club page with a club logo and invite members to join.

With more than 200 clubs under the Bowls SA banner, our collective efforts can have a significant impact. Join Bowls for Blue and help PCFA continue its vital work supporting men and families in need.
