Where do the funds go?

All monies raised by you go directly to the The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia using funraisin. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and go directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia – no expenses are deducted from these donations, 100% of all donations go to assist with prostate cancer research.

How much do I have to raise?

Each vehicle is required to raise a minimum of $1,500 for Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and all donors receive a receipt for their donations. Of course you don’t have to do this on your own, most people ask their family and friends to support them. You don’t have to stop at $1,500, we also will have an award on the final night for our highest fundraiser.

How long is the Rally?

The Rally is 7 days from the start point to the finish point. As the start point is usually in a remote location - most people will arrive at the start point a day or 2 before the official first day. Many will take their time driving home but others will do it quickly.

Do I need a 4WD?

Yes you do need a 4WD & it must have low range. Unfortunately we can’t accommodate any 4WD larger than a Land Cruiser. If you are uncertain please get in touch with our event director Peter Fehon on 0414284489 or peter@charitycarevents.com.au

Do you have support vehicles on the Rally?

Yes - we will have a minimum two mechanical support vehicles and medical support.

What equipment do I need in my car?

All vehicles must be 4WD and have low range. Your vehicle will need a UHF radio, dust lights and a snatch strap.
Your vehicle must be Road registered. It must be Roadworthy and insured for minimum Third Party property.

How much does it cost to enter the Rally?

The registration fee is $750.00

How much are the meals and accommodation?

Meals, accommodation is $1,800 per person based on one vehicle and two people. Additional passengers in a vehicle will be $1,800 per person.

Additional passengers in a vehicle will be subject to availability of beds in our overnight stays. Applications for additional passengers will be subject to acceptance by the Event Directors, at a price to be confirmed upon application.

How many vehicles will be on the Rally?

We are limited to 40 vehicles due to limited accommodation in the outback.

Do I have to camp?

No we have reserved motel rooms. You can camp if you wish - please get in touch about prices & details for a camping option.

Are my registration, meals & accommodation fees refundable?

Generally No. But if the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a refund or you can carry it over to the next rally. If you need to cancel due to illness or a crisis please get in touch with Peter Fehon to discuss.

What precautions will you be taking for COVID-19?

We have a registered COVID plan with Service NSW.
We will be relying on all accommodation & meal providers to comply with the current rules for COVID-19.
We encourage you to always have a face mask & hand sanitiser on hand and ready to use.

Do people dress up?

Some people like to wear fun clothing/costumes etc but it is completely up to you what you wear. One evening we will have a fun night which may involve optional dressing up  - we will keep you posted.
