A couple of old blokes trying to stay out of mischief

Prostate cancer threatens the lives of 1 in 5 Aussie men. 20%, a couple of blokes out of your cricket team, 3 from your footy team, just numbers and stats.
Reality is they’re blokes like you and me. And I challenge anyone over fifty or so to honestly say that they haven’t been touched by this through a friend or relative. That you don’t know at least one mate who has gone under the knife to get sorted, patched up and getting on with life or a different life, or just to survive.
As a disease it’s common as muck, but if caught early it’s highly survivable with different levels of outcomes. However, the only way it’s ever going to get better, treatments improve, the survivability and quality of life improve, is to throw money at the research, and lots of it.
So this time around Stepehen Dyer and I are hoping to get your support to raise as much cash as we can. All the money goes to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. All aimed at trying to keep us old codgers and our equally old dingleberries upright and on the right side of the grass.
Please dig deep and help us raise a wad of cash.
If you believe you’ll never be one of the 1 in 5, that’s great. Maybe then you’re doing it for a mate or member of your family who won’t be so lucky. Why you’d donate isn’t important, it’s only important that you do, if you can. We're raising funds today to save men’s lives.
Every dollar you donate will be a game-changer for Aussie men and their families, boosting life-saving prostate cancer research, nursing, and support provided by PCFA.
You can make a massive difference by committing to give a tax-deductible donation today.
On behalf of the 28,868 men who will be diagnosed this year – thank you in advance! Frank Mercuri and Stephen Dyer
