The Long Blue Walk
On the 16th of November, our team is taking on an incredible challenge — walking 100 kilometres (5 days) in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. We’ve named our effort The Long Blue Walk because this journey is more than just a hike; it’s a statement of commitment, resilience, and hope.
We believe it’s not enough to simply talk about prostate cancer — we need to act. By putting one foot in front of the other over this gruelling distance, we want to show our dedication to making a real difference for men and families facing this disease.
Our motivation is deeply personal. Each of us has a close connection to prostate cancer: fathers, brothers, and friends who have fought — and are still fighting — this battle. One of our own father-in-laws is currently undergoing treatment, and some of our teammates have themselves faced the disease or walked alongside family members through it.
With every kilometre we cover, we’re walking for them — and for the thousands of men and families who need more research, more support, and more hope.
