How We Started
Ross Alexander was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2013 and joined the NSW Prostate Cancer Foundation Board in 2015 to "give a bit back." He credits his survival to advancements in research, science, and awareness funded by Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
Over the past 30 years, Ross has raised more than $370,000 through charity car rallies. Recognizing the critical need for funding, he partnered with Peter Fehon (Charity Car Events) and Vic Widman (Great Divide Tours) in 2017 to launch the Prostate Cancer Rally supporting prostate cancer research.
Today, the Prostate Cancer Rally is proudly organised by Peter and Trish Fehon of Charity Car Events.
The Prostate Cancer Rally Vision
A 7 day event, taking your 4WD vehicle off the bitumen and onto the dirt and gravel roads of the great Australian outback. We will visit many iconic outback towns – enjoy sensational country food organised for you. All this whilst we raise funds to support Prostate Cancer Research – an insidious disease that will affect 1 in 5 blokes. Don’t miss this great week away! Fundraising for Prostate Cancer
Each vehicle is required to raise a minimum of $1,500 for Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. Of course, you don't have to do this personally, most people ask their family and friends to support them. All donation of $2 are tax deductible and go directly to Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia – no expenses are deducted from these donations, 100% of all donations go to assist with prostate cancer research, awareness and support. You don't have to stop at $1,500, we also will have an award on the final night for our highest fundraiser.
