Why We Fundraise: Our Mission to Fight Prostate Cancer
Tuesday 29th AprEvery year, prostate cancer affects thousands of men and their families—often silently, often too late. It’s a disease that doesn’t always make headlines, but it touches lives in every community. That’s why Team SAVS is hitting the road from 23rd August to 30th August 2025—to raise awareness, drive action, and help fund the fight against prostate cancer.
Our journey will take us from Robinvale, VIC to Leeton, NSW via Hahndorf, SA, covering hundreds of kilometers with a single goal: to make a real difference in the lives of men facing this disease. Along the way, we’ll be connecting with communities, sharing stories, and encouraging early detection—because when caught early, prostate cancer is one of the most treatable cancers.
This isn’t just a fundraiser. It’s a movement. It’s about bringing people together to stand up for the men in our lives—our dads, brothers, sons, partners, and mates. It’s about supporting those currently in the fight, remembering those we’ve lost, and pushing for better outcomes for future generations.
Our goal is to raise $2000 for Prostate Cancer Rally Fundraiser, with all proceeds going directly toward vital research, education, and support services.
We’re calling on our communities—every town we pass through, every person we meet—to get behind this cause. Whether you donate, cheer us on, or help spread the word, you’re playing a part in something bigger.
