EVPHC and SCHC Prostate cancer Charity Harness drive
Prostate cancer threatens the lives of 1 in 6 Aussie men.
I’m raising funds today to save men’s lives tomorrow.
Every dollar you donate will be a game-changer for Aussie men and their families, boosting life-saving prostate cancer research, nursing, and support provided by PCFA.
You can make a massive difference by committing to give a tax-deductible donation today.
On behalf of the 16,700 men who will be diagnosed this year – thank you!
The Great Southern Rail Trail is a 68-kilometre rail trail from Leongatha to Welshpool in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. This mostly flat or gently undulating trail goes through lush dairy farmland, areas of remnant bush and lowland scrub. It climbs from the foothills of Fish Creek up past Mount Hoddle and then down a steep descent through dense forest out into magnificent views of Wilsons Promontory and Corner Inlet, continuing on to Foster. before ending at Welshpool. The Eastern Vic Pleasure harness club and the Southern cross Harness club have joined together to raise funds for men with Prostate Cancer. This will be the 3rd charity drive and we are striving to raise $4000. Drivers participate with equines which include Horses, ponies donkeys and mules stopping at towns along the way where the public are keen to donate towards the cause. Leanne Prosser the Gippsland Prostate cancer specialist nurse is involved in this drive and promotes prostate cancer awareness to the public . The group stays overnight at Buffalo, Bennison and Welshpool.
