Bowling for Blue Event
There are around 20,000 men in the South Australian
community who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, and
more than 2,000 men are newly diagnosed each year.
So Bowls SA is launching Bowling for Blue, a month long
challenge in March 2025 for bowling clubs across the state to raise funds and
awareness for the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the country.
Activities across Mad March include wear blue for
prostate, coin and cash tin collections, prize raffle and auction, charity
bowls event and car and bistro running special promotions such as, “Parma for
Prostate”, “Pimms for Prostate”.
