I'm saving lives.
My Stand Up Paddleboard Challenge started in November 2024 when I was told that Aristos Efthymiou from Cyprus (who was taking part in an International ‘SUP My Race’ Challenge) had paddled 587.57 kilometres in the month of October. I just couldn’t help myself and decided to see if I could beat his total, which I did paddling 818.43 kilometres in the month of November 2024.
Since then, from the beginning of November 2024 to the end of November 2025 I have paddled 9090.46 kilometres on a Stand Up Paddleboard. (That’s not including several hundred kms in a kayak and taking a month off in August/September to race in the World Masters Canoe Marathon Championships in Hungary.)
I thought that I would only do the SUP challenge for a couple of months but I just kept paddling and since November 2024 and I have been on top of the SUP MY RACE leaderboard every month apart from August and September when I was overseas.
In October 2025 I paddled 1005 kilometres in the month and in November 2025 I paddled 1035 kilometres in that month.
This month, December I hope to paddle 1100 kilometres which is a big task considering all the Christmas parties happening this month. To paddle 1000 kms on my SUP I have to paddle around 200 hours.
My challenge finishes at the end of December.
Please help me reach my goal by encouraging me to paddle 1100 kms this month of December by giving a donation.
Many thanks, Terry.
Every day, 79 Aussie men (which included me) are diagnosed with prostate cancer. That’s why I’ve decided to become an agent of change by joining the PCFA-Team.
I’ll be taking on a new challenge and raising funds to support men and their families impacted by a prostate cancer diagnosis. From game-changing research to specialised mental and physical care, there is so much more we can, and must, do to save the lives of the men we love.
Please support the team that can save lives by making a tax-deductible donation to my campaign in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
