THE DINNER HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Friday 7th Nov
Sorry people, unfortunately we did not receive as large a response for this event to make it financially viable, so we are POSTPONING the event until early in 2026. We are thinking a date in March 2026 would be more favourable than the date we chose in November, given the number of pre Xmas work functions happening at this time of year.
Those who have purchased tickets will receive a full refund.
You are still welcome to Donate Funds through this site to PCFA in memory of Michael Dixon McKellar of course.
See you in 2026.

Guest Speaker Appointed

Tuesday 4th Nov
We have obtained the assistance of Dr Rahul Rindani as our Guest Speaker for the Degustation Dinner event.

Dr Rindani is the current Head of Urology Service at the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District, which he has held since 2012.  His clinical practice now focuses on uro-oncolgy surgery, providing a modern approach accompanied by high-quality care to all his patients.

Dr Rindani is highly involved in the teaching and training of junior doctors and junior urologists.  Rahul has been part of a team of urologists responsible for the training of 3 advanced urology registrars every year since he became a consultant in 2005. He also lectures medical students at the University of Wollongong School of Medicine.

Dr Rindani will address attendees on the latest diagnostic tools and treatment options to help men beat Prostate Cancer and stay alive.

We look forward to the information Dr Rindani can provide to us to help us to save lives.

A Mini in the Netherlands

Wednesday 29th Oct
When Michael was asked by his company, Thales, if he would take up a post in the Netherlands he jumped at the opportunity. The company provided a 20' container to put all his and Jenny's furniture in to take with them to the the town they would be living in, Almelo, near the German border.
Michael swapped out the 20' container for a 40' container so he could take his racing mini with him.
While in Holland he competed with the local Mini Clubs at many events including track days, motorkhana's and even at Nürburgring!
The car generated lots of interest - it was the only right hand drive Mini there......

Come along to our Degustation Dinner for more information.

Did I mention This?

Sunday 26th Oct
So it has come to pass that while we have been in the throws of organising this event our Major Sponsor and Collaborator for the Event, Amber Lane Whisky, have officially been recognised as the Best Whisky Producer in Australia in 2025!
Amber Lane Equinox expression was named Australia’s best whisky for 2025 at the Royal Australian Spirits Awards (RASA) in Adelaide recently, receiving the Bintani Australia Trophy for Champion Whisky.
In a major coup, Equinox also received the Champion Spirit of Show trophy, making it the nation’s best distilled spirit for 2025.
With a score of 18.7 out of 20, Equinox was also named the best small batch distilled spirit of show & received a gold medal!
Equinox is one of our most popular small-batch expressions, well-known for capturing the magical moment where ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks are in perfect balance.  Its nose of honeyed pastries, baklava, rose water and toffee gives way to a richly opulent taste of raisins, honey cinnamon, vanilla and cola.
The RASA wins take Amber Lane’s overall gold medal haul to a jaw-dropping 28. "We are over the moon!, said Rod Berry Amber Lane CEO.
“An equinox occurs when day and night are of equal length, due to the passage of the sun across the celestial equator - it’s a really special, magical moment in time, where everything is aligning - I feel like these awards are our equinox. They represent a milestone in our whisky-making journey and celebrate our continued dedication and uncompromising diligence.” - Rod Berry
