Every day, 79 Aussie men are diagnosed with prostate cancer.Â
Men living in regional or rural areas of Australia have approximately 24% higher rate of dying from prostate cancer than their urban counterparts. Â
That’s why we’ve decided to become an agent of change by joining the PCFA-Team.
We’ll be taking on a new challenge and raising funds to support men and their families impacted by a prostate cancer diagnosis. Our primary fundraising activity is planned as a community 'nude not rude' calendar, showcasing local characters and groups and promoting prostate health. Another big event will be for the formal launch of the 2027 calendar with a date planned for September 2026 when calendars will go on sale during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.Â
Funds raised will be supporting PCFA from game-changing research to specialised mental and physical care, there is so much more we can, and must, do to save the lives of the men we love.Â
