1st Fundraiser Saturday 27th June 2026 -Rising Sun Honda

A big thank you to Trent and the team at Rising Sun Honda for allowing us to put on our 1st fundraiser towards the long ride 2027, research and awareness in to Prostrate Cancer. We raised over $600 profit including raffles and merchandise. A special mention to the huge effort from Andrea Palin our support vehicle for the event again who travelled all the way from Emerald to attend this event . 

Exiting medical breakthrough

Morning all , I’ve just come across a recent news article about some exciting news about an Australian medical first about a new drug trial that they hope will beat Prostrate Cancer. Thought I’d share this link below.

It’s inspiring to be part of a group such as The Long Ride that has provided such support to the PCFA cause is research and awareness of Prostrate Cancer over many years. 

These efforts and other fundraising efforts around our great country are starting to bare some results . Well done to Chris Dunne and Gail Dunne as the founders along with everyone else involved . Fantastic news !

2nd Fundraiser Bunnings Sausage Sizzle 18th July 2026

Townsville turned on the weather for the event , turning out to be a very successful day in raising over $2300 profit. 100% goes towards the Long Ride 2027 assisting in research and awareness of PCFA.
