On October 5th, I’m turning 44. But instead of throwing a party or asking for birthday drinks, the Steel Stallions and I are jumping on our bikes for an epic 8-day, 4,000+ km ride from Adelaide across Bass Strait and into Tasmania—all to raise vital funds and awareness for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men, taking thousands of lives each year. Most of us know someone affected—a dad, a mate, a brother, or a colleague. As blokes who love the open road and the freedom of riding, we want to make sure the men in our lives get to stick around for many more miles.
From October 3rd to October 10th, we’ll be covering serious ground across South Australia, Victoria, and the twisties of Tassie.

Turning 44 on Two Wheels for a Cause That Matters
Wednesday 23rd SepThis October, I’m celebrating a milestone—I’m turning 44 on October 5th. But instead of throwing a birthday bash or kicking back with a quiet drink, the Steel Stallions and I are gearing up for the ride of a lifetime.
From October 3rd to October 10th, we are mounting our bikes and tackling an epic 8-day, 4,000+ kilometre journey from Adelaide, through Victoria, across Bass Strait, and straight into the legendary twisties of Tasmania.
We aren't just riding for the freedom of the open road—we’re riding to save lives by supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).
Why We’re Riding
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men. Every single day, 45 Aussie blokes are told they have prostate cancer, and thousands lose their fight every year.
Most of us know someone affected—whether it’s a father, a brother, a mate, or a riding buddy. As a group of blokes who love motorcycling and community, the Steel Stallions want to make sure the men in our lives get to stick around for many more miles.
By taking on this challenge, we aim to raise vital awareness for early detection and contribute directly to PCFA’s specialist nursing care and groundbreaking research.
